Siltbuster Limited is the UK’s leading
provider of mobile silt management equipment.
From our base in Monmouth, we design, produce, market and sell
our unique and innovative Siltbuster units to the Construction,
Environmental Remediation and Industrial sectors and most recently
the Municipal Wastewater sector.
We operate a large hire fleet of Siltbuster FB50 units
and a smaller number of HB50 hopper bottom equivalents plus other
models, including Oil Water Separators and most recently Mobile
Filter Presses for solids dewatering.
The company has in excess of 60 silt pollution prevention projects
ongoing at any one time, as far afield as the Orkney Isles and
New South Wales, Australia.
So what is a“Siltbuster” ?
Siltbuster was launched at the SED Plant
show in May 2003 as a product of the then parent company Unipure
Europe Ltd. Due to subsequent exponential growth, Siltbuster
Ltd was established as a separate company in October 2005.

7 out of 10 of the UK’s largest Construction Contractors
are regular users of Siltbuster units (Source : New Civil
Engineer - Contractors File 2005). British Airports Authority,
the Environment Agency and the Scottish Environmental Protection
Agency have all recommended/specified the use of Siltbuster
units to Contractors.
The whole Siltbuster range has been designed
to meet the increasing need to improve environmental protection
of water courses, groundwater, marine environments and hence water
sources both present and future.
By providing cost effective treatment systems for
use on Construction sites, Municipal and Industrial wastewater
treatment plants, the product is now considered by most environmentally
conscious Contractors and Companies as the only reliable way of
protecting the aquatic environment from the uncontrolled release
of silt and/or free phase oil.
The Siltbuster product range is designed
to remove suspended solids and/or oil from water. The product
has been particularly well received in the Construction industry,
where it is extensively used to remove suspended solids and free
phase oil in water pumped off-site to either sewer or receiving
watercourses.
For our mobile units aimed at the Construction &
Environmental market, this is done in such a way that requires
no power, no moving parts and no filters, which means that other
than regular emptying the units are effectively maintenance free.
